Magpie Panic is a free pixel-art cycling arcade game about a suburban ride gone wrong. Steer freely, duck the swoops and slip through the chaos while saving enough energy for whatever comes next.

## Ride your own line

There are no fixed lanes. Weave, brake, boost and pick your way through the street. Learn to read the warning, time your duck and leave some energy in the tank.

Your best score and furthest distance are tracked separately. A chalk outline marks your previous furthest crash, so you can ride past it next time.

## Add a little showmanship

- **Wheelies:** Hold a wheelie, correct the wobble and stay in the green. Release to bank your points before you stack.

- **Ramp tricks:** Roll onto a ramp and tap during the airtime window. Five tricks offer perfect, close, miss and stack outcomes. Tricks are optional.

- **Swarm mode:** Longer rides can trigger a warning followed by five tracking attacks from six birds. Duck or steer clear, then survive the barrage to bank the bonus.

## One energy meter, every move

Boosting, ducking, hopping, wheelies and tricks all use the same energy meter. Brake to replenish it faster. A good ride is part instinct, part timing and part knowing when not to show off.

## Controls

**Keyboard**

- `A` `D` or `Left Arrow` `Right Arrow`: steer

- `W` `S` or `Up Arrow` `Down Arrow`: boost, brake and balance during a wheelie

- `Space`: hold to duck a swoop

- `Q`: tap to hop

- `E`: hold to wheelie, release to bank points

**Phone browser**

Turn your phone sideways for landscape play. Touch controls appear when you ride, including a stick for steering, boosting, braking and wheelie balance, plus buttons for duck, hop and wheelie.
